Carolyn Sue Johns

Carolyn Sue Johns, 73, of Nottaway Drive in Nicholasville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at Nicholasville Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky, to the late Buford “Harold” Johns, Jr., and the late Helen Jean Cross Johns. Sue was retired from Thomson Hood Veterans Center in Wilmore, Kentucky. She is survived by her siblings, two sisters, Cindy (Larry) Overbay and Charlotte (Stewart) Moss, and two brothers, Bobby (Teresa) Johns and Darrell Johns. Additional survivors include nieces and nephews Jenny Steuer, Matthew Johns, Kasi Johns Miller, Katie Johns, Jonathan (Brooke) Overbay, Adam Overbay, Lauren Moss, great nieces Molly Steuer, Eva Prothro, and Lola Johns. She was preceded in death by a sister, Lynda Johns. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Larry Overbay, Stewart Moss, Jonathan Overbay, Adam Overbay, Matthew Johns, and Mike Kestel.
