Charles William Dixon

Charles William Dixon, 83, husband of Barbara Jean Wells Dixon, passed away, on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at his home in Lancaster, Kentucky. He was born in Roxanna, Kentucky on March 30, 1940, to the late Arvil Dixon and the late Lavada Caudill Fouts. Charles was a retired computer operator at IBM, and a United States Air Force Veteran. In addition to his wife, he is survived by Lisa Dixon French, her husband, Keith, and two sisters, Marge Smith and Linda Becknell, her husband, Wayne. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Sheri Lynn Dixon, sister, Ella Dixon Becknell, and his stepfather, Clyde Fouts. Services will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro Jay Webb officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Family and friends will serve as bearers. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM- 8:00 PM, on Tuesday, at Betts & West Funeral Home.
