Harold L. Gross, age 82, of Fairfield, OH, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Fairfield. He was born near Jackson, KY and was the son of the late Harrison Gross and Shrilda (nee Howard) Rogers-Gross. Harold is preceded in death by his daughter-Lori, his brothers- Phillip and David and his sisters- Lena and Phyllis. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Ann; his daughters, Mary (Mark), Elaine and Pegeen (Tom); his sisters, Joyce (Bob), Janice, Pat (Leo) and his brothers, Paul (Susan) and Jim (Lisa). Harold has 4 Grandchildren: Brian, Jessica, Austin, and Tim; and 7 Great-grandchildren. Harold was a U. S. Army Veteran, serving in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. Harold retired from the U. S. Army after serving his country for over 20 years. After retirement, he worked for Champion Papers, The City of Fairfield, Butler County Community Action and was an Antique Dealer. The family would like to sincerely thank the doctors, nurses, medical professionals and caregivers for their support and care.
Mass of Christian Burial was Thursday, February 10, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fairfield, OH, under the care of Avance Funeral Home. Graveside service and Military Honors will be performed at Camp Nelson National Cemetery at 11:00 AM on Friday, February 25.
