Joyce Lee Roberts

Joyce Lee Roberts, 81, widow of Alwin Rankin Roberts III, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2024, at her home on Miles Road in Nicholasville, Kentucky. She was born in Roanoke, Virginia, on November 20, 1942, to the late Lawrence Edward Hamilton Mawyer and Jesse Clara Belle Gillenwater Mawyer. She is survived by her son, John Robert McLean, daughters, Julia Elaine Mawyer Lott and Kimberly Sue Roberts Boswell; stepdaughter, Brenda Lee Roberts Catron; sisters, Janet M. Rife and Jacqueline M. Preas; as well as seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is preceded by her husband, Alwin, her son, James Edward McLean, and her twin sister, Judith Ann Mawyer Crowder.
