Omer Eugene Hendren, age 79, widower of Bessie Neal Hendren, died Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at his home in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He was born in Casey County, Kentucky on October 29, 1941 to the late James Hendren and Sadie Powers Kirby. Survivors include sons, Hayden Baker, Ronnie Baker (Flonnie), Donnie Baker (Cathy) Malachi Baker, daughters, Lisa Johnson (Marty Conner), Dora Hendren (Ira Bates), grandchildren, Isaac, Katelyn, Caleb, Jacob, Michael, and Gunner Baker, BreAnna and Kiersten Henderson, Kayla Swanson, Stephanie Lewis, Jessica Houp and Destiny Collins, great grandchildren, Klarissa, Landon, Karleigh, Kyra, Colton, Emily, Gabriel, Peyton, AceLynn, Malachi and Landon, and sister, Betty Hall. He was preceded in death by a sister, Anna Rose Lowry and a brother, Harold Hendren. Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, May 14, 2021 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Joshua Fayne officiating. Visitation will be 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday at the funeral home.
