Regina Yolanda Teegarden

Regina Yolanda Teegarden, 70, wife of Gary Teegarden, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023, surrounded by her family at Baptist Health Lexington. She was born in Salem County, New Jersey, on September 12, 1952, to the late Carmen Rocco DiEnno and Ada Mae Cooper Holt. She was a member of Faith United Community Church. Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Gary; son, Harry Dan Small, Jr. (Kellie); stepson, Jason Robert Teegarden (Anna); daughters, Ada Blanton (Glenden), Connie Jean Wyman (James), and Contessa Nicole Small; stepdaughter, Tiffany Chanel Teegarden; brother, Carmen Rocco DiEnno (Kathy); as well as eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carmen and Ada; brother, Charlie Buckalew; and sisters, Katherine Matlack, and Julia DiEnno Hawn. Services will be held at 12:00 PM, Thursday, April 13, at Faith United Community Church, with Pastor Brenda Davis and Pastor Mark Horton officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery, where casket bearers will be Glenden Blanton, Sr., Glenden Blanton, Jr., Gulian Blanton, Michael Small, Cameron Small, Jason Teegarden, James Wyman, and Jerry Teegarden. Honorary bearers will be William Wyman, Clayton Ray Johns, Kolbie Small, Aiden Blanton, Cruz Blanton, and Nikola Small. Visitation will be held the evening prior, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM, Wednesday, at the church. Betts & West is honored to serve Regina and the Teegarden family.
