Vernon "Bill" Mink

Vernon “Bill” Mink, 80, husband of Rosa Lee Mink for 56 years, passed Friday, April 6, 2018. He was born March 29, 1938 to the late Woodrow and Emma Bertie Carpenter Mink. Also survived by a daughter, Linda Lee (Jeffery) Durham, four sisters, Corine Smith, Joyce (Lawrence) Land, Lucy (Larry) Montgomery, and Dalphine Byrd, three brothers, Harold (Nann) Mink, Merle (Saundra) Mink, and Darrell (Kelley) Mink, two grandchildren, Latrisha Dawn Durham Locker and Brian Anthony Durham, six great grandchildren, Patrick, Micah, and Vernon LeeAllen Locker, Blake, Brooklynn, and Brynnlee Durham and other family members. Bill was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jackie Ray Mink, Lawrence Mink, and James Mink. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Howell officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Bearers will be Mirle Mink, Darrell Mink, Harold Mink, Bill Vernon Mink, Craig Mink, Joe Byrd, and Michael Land.
