Alene Cobb Lowry

Nicholasville-Agnes Alene Cobb Lowry, 89, widow of Roy Easley Lowry, Logan Lane, Nicholasville, died Wednesday, January 13, 2010 in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. She was born on January 4, 1921 in Jessamine County the daughter of the late Ernest and Dora Perkins Cobb. She is survived by two daughters, Sonya (Esker) Lowry Henry and Darlene C. Lowry Hensley both of Jessamine County; four grandchildren, Leisa Henry Brumfield, Gina Hensley Caldwell, Jeff A. Lowry and Roy Don Lowry, four great grandchildren, Jeffrey S. Lowry, Brianna G. Lowry, Taylor L. Caldwell and Ali Dawn Lowry. Additional survivors include a brother, Rice Cobb and two sisters, Helen Caudill and Ernestine Stinnett. She was preceded in death by a son, Donnie E. Lowry and several brothers and sisters. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday January 15, 2010 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro.
