Alice Gayle Leach Moss, 73, wife of Frank Ashley Moss, died Wednesday, March 5, 2014. She was born January 2, 1941 in Nicholasville, KY to the late Sergius Wayne and Nell Benard Staton Leach. Gayle was a homemaker and member of Edgewood Baptist Church. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved her animals and yard sales. Family survivors are three children, Stewart (Charlotte) Moss, Sterling (Christy) Moss, Allison (Scott) Bowman, six grandchildren, Lauren Moss, Kelsi Moss, Staton Bowman, Blaine Bowman, Taylor Moss, Ryland Bowman, three siblings, Elaine (Ronnie) Ogden, Tommy (Cheryl) Leach, Sharron Eason and other family members. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Leach Gonzales. Services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Betts and West Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Sholar and Dr. W.A. Curwood officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 until 9:00 pm and Saturday from 11:00 until time of service at the funeral home. Bearers will be Timmy Ogden, Tommy Ogden, Shawn Leach, Travis Conn, Jason Davis and Phillip Williams. Honorary Bearers will be Roy Williams, Robert Williams, Billy Jasper, Gary Simpson, Norma Ransdell, Diane McFarland, Danny Moss, Rodney Moss and Marion Williams.
