Alva Nell "Penny" Adams

Nicholasville-Alva Nell -Penny- Adams, 73, widow of William E. Adams Jr., of Pinoak Drive, died April 8, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a retired employee of Seargent and Greenleaf and also worked at Bluegrass Manufacturing and Wal Mart. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Bertha Everman Lairson. Survivors include three children, Donald Ray (Brenda) Frederick, James C. (Susan) Federick and Michael A. (Margie) Rigney, eight grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, eight brothers and sisters. She was preceded in death by a son Dave Wayne Frederick. Services will be 10:30am Monday at Lighthouse Baptist Church, 105 Shun Pike, with Rev. Dan Barnes officiating. Burial will be in the West Bend Cemetery in Powell County. Visitation will be Sunday from 3 to 8pm at Betts & West Funeral Home.
