Alvie Lee Antrobus

July 18, 1924 — February 21, 2013

Alvie Lee Antrobus, 88, husband of sixty five years to Ruby Imogene Roberts Antrobus, of Troy Pike, died February 21, 2013. He was a proud farmer, having received the Distinguished Farmer award for Woodford Co., a member, former Deacon and song leader of the Clear Creek Baptist Church, was a WWII veteran, serving with the 82nd Airborne Unit, was a Bronze Star recipient and was chosen for Gen. Eisenhower's Honor Guard. Additional survivors include two daughters, Charlotte (Howard) Beauman, and Becky Lane (Scott Seal), three grandchildren, Bryan (Candy) Beauman, Brent (Sarah) Beauman and Ashlee (Loren) Wells, great grandchildren, Christian, Bailee, Luke, Emilee and Lucy Beauman and Palmer Wells. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter. Services will be 7:00pm Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Dr. Howard Beauman officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Monday.
