Anne Scott Carter Brown

Anne Scott Carter Brown, 60, fianc-e of Glenn Buffin, died Friday, November 21, 2014. Anne was born July 7, 1954 in Lexington, KY to the late William Nolan and Irene Scott Carter. She was a member of Nicholasville Christian Church where she was a deacon, chairman of the deacons and sang in the choir. Anne was also a member of the Circle, liked to garden, crochet, read and watch her boys play baseball. She was also an avid UK sports fan. Family survivors are six children, William Jarrod (Skila) Brown, Crystal Leigh (Kevin), Shannon Marie (Tony) Lay, Chad Hunter Buffin, Jessica Lee (Melvin) Trent and Lyndsey Morgan Buffin, nine grandchildren, Gustavo, Isaac, Lu-s, Auddie, Jordan, Westyn, Kelbie, Harper and one on the way, Jackson and other family members. Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at Nicholasville Christian Church with Rev. Lon Oliver officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the church. Bearers will be Terry McFarland, Willie McCuddy, Bob Ball, Chad Buffin, Doug Doolin and Danny Smith. Honorary Bearers will be Tony Lay, Kevin Strange, Diane McFarland, Robin Jordan, Vonnie Pridemore, Debra McCuddy, Anna Wilson, Wesley Pike, Griff Howard and all members of the Choir.
