Arvil Douglas

Arvil Douglas, 82, widower of Patricia Ann Douglas, died June 14. Arvil was born in Boyle County, on August 24, 1935, to the late Walter Douglas and Ada Vaught. He worked with sheet metal, for Jerry Phelps Roofing Company. Arvis is survived by three sons Rickey, Arvil, and Tony Douglas, one daughter Rebecca Douglas, two brothers Marshall and Paskell, four sisters Elizabeth and Pauline Phillips, Peggy Lipscomb, and Judy Hasty, ten grandchildren, and fifteen great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by one son Thomas, his brother Walter, two sisters Hazel Wise, and Dorothy Lamb. Funeral services will be at Betts & West, Tuesday, June 19th at 11:00am.
