Atallah Yousef Dabit, 84, husband of Rima Martha Dabit, passed away on Thursday, February 20, 2025, at his home on Kennesaw Drive in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born in Lyd, Palestine on January 1, 1941, to the late Yousef Dabit and Shafouka Dabit. Survivors include his children, Joanne (Tony) Guzman, Maher Dabit, Diane (Peter) Sackleh, and Joseph (Ceceile) Dabit, eight grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Additional survivors include two brothers, Saleem Dabit and Khalil Dabit, and a sister, Sumaya Zayed. Services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 22, 2025, at St. Andrews Orthodox Church 1136 Higbee Mill Road Lexington, Kentucky 40503 with Father Thomas Galloway and Father Nabil Fino officiating. The burial will follow in The Lexington Cemetery with Joseph Dabit, Maher Dabit, Atallah Dabit, Anthony Shadeh, Freddy Shadeh, and Peter Sackleh serving as bearers. The visitation will be at the church from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. Betts & West is honored to serve Atallah and his family in their time of need.
