Barbara Ann Stewart Maxey

Barbara Ann Haynes Maxey, 81, widow of Harold W. Maxey, died Saturday, October 27, 2013. She was born May 2, 1932 in Fayette County to the late Thomas T. and Mary Ann Stewart Haynes. Barbara was a member of the Eastern Star, liked having her family around, puzzle books and seeing the sunset at Green River Lake. Family survivors are a daughter, Diane (Stanley) Stinnett, three sons, Jerry Wayne (Linda) Maxey, Jimmy Ray (Carolyn) Maxey and Johnie Marion (Sandy) Maxey, seven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and other family members. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Tammy Lynn Stinnett. Services will be 1:30 pm Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Lakes officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Grass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 am until time of service. Bearers will be Jerry, Jimmy, Johnie, Jamey and Johnie Maxey and Stanley Stinnett.
