Beatrice Louise Rike

Beatrice McCormick Rike, 68, passed away peacefully in her home on February 12, 2025. Bea, Aunt Bea, Mama Bea, Mom, Grandma, Honey… all names for which she was known, was a pharmacy tech for 24 years, a retired RN (of 17 years) working at hospitals in the Lexington area, as well as in North Carolina. She was much loved by her colleagues and patients alike. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Rickey. As well as her children, Angela Abou Zeid, Daniel Rike, and Stephen Rike, and her beloved dog, Sadie. She is also survived by her precious grandchildren, Malak, Samar, and Hussein Abou Zeid, her sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, and a host of nieces and nephews. And several “adopted” daughters. She will be missed dearly and loved forever. Services will be at 6:00 PM, on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Chaplain Diane Munoz officiating, with the visitation before from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
