Beechel Smith

Beechel Smith, 63, died Thursday, August 2, 2012. He was born in Pineville, Kentucky on July 3, 1949, the son of the late Camel Smith and Hannah Martha Powers Grubbs. Survivors include his siblings, Shorty Smith of Corbin; Christina Peel, Cecil Smith and Lena (Garnett) Lay of Nicholasville and numerous other family members. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Gracie Smith, Luther Smith, Ollie Dotson, Abe Smith and Jabe Smith. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Ronald Riley officiating. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be today from 6:00 until 9:00PM at Betts & West Funeral Home.
