Bertha Marie Kelly

Bertha Marie Locker Kelly, 86, widow of Edward B. Kelly Sr., passed away Monday, November 23, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Lexington, Kentucky on October 22, 1929 to the late Willie Locker and Beatrice Marie Gayheart Locker-Sanders. She was a homemaker and loved to play bingo and poker, read and watch sports on TV especially UK Basketball. Bertha is survived by three children Toni Marie (Bobby) Wood, Stephen Michael (Joyce) Kelly and Timothy Lee (Debbie) Kelly, grandchildren Audrey Kelly, Joe Kelly, Mitzie (Rick) O'Rourke, Michael (Crissy) Wood, Greg McManaway, Jeff McManaway, Robyn (Chris) Fain, Stephanie (Stephen) Garcia, Jennifer Kelly, Timothy John Kelly, Krista Kelly and Anthony Kelly, great grandchildren, Jena Rae Kelly, Christopher Wesley, Gunnar O'Rourke, Jared O'Rourke, Grant Wood, Christian Fain, Avery Garcia and Adrienne Smith, two sisters Anna Hager and Betty Lamb, a daughter in law Judy Kelly. Bertha was also preceded in death by one son Edward B. Kelly Jr. Funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 PM Friday, November 27, 2015 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Moore officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11AM till the funeral service hour of 1:30 PM Friday at the funeral home.
