Bertha Smith

Bertha Smith, 79, widow of Donald Smith, passed away Sunday, November 15, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on July 28, 1936 to the late George and Anna Kendrick McGuire. Bertha was a retired cosmetologist and a member of the East Hickman Baptist Church. She is survived two daughters Bertha Sue Vieu and Donelle Smith, two grandchildren Robert J. Vieu and Donald J. Vieu, three great grandchildren David J. Vieu, Kaitlyn Vieu and Dylan L. Vieu, one brother Charles McGuire and one sister Perlie Lang. Funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Betts & West Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 10-12 noon Wednesday at the funeral home.
