Bessie L. Mahan

Nicholasville-Bessie L. Mahan, 87, widow of Thomas Mahan of Richmond, formerly of Nicholasville, died Thursday March 3, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Millard and Betty Cheetam Graham. Survivors include her daughters, Georgia (D. Anderson) Walker and Nancy (Johnnie) Bowen, two grandsons, Tommy Bowen (Billie Jack Melton) and Richard (Jennifer) Walker, one granddaughter, Amanda Bowen (Bradley) Ray, two great granddaughters, Cheyenne and Brittaney Walker, two great grandsons, Thomas and Austin Bowen, two brothers, A.J. (Lottie) Graham and Millard (Lula Mae) Graham Jr., a sister Ann Graham, several nieces and nephews. Services will be 10:00am Monday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Bro. Johnnie Bowen officiating. Visitation 5-8pm Sunday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Bearers will be Wayne Malone, Tommy Bowen, Eric Lewis, Richard Walker, Cecil Dulsworth.
