Bette Jo Robb Glass

Bette Jo Robb Glass, 77, widow of Charles W. Glass, went home to be with the Lord Saturday August 20, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Connell Robb III and Elizabeth Currey Robinson Robb. She is survived by her daughter, Betsy Glass Biddle and her husband, Ben Biddle Jr. her son, Charles Robb Glass and his wife Amanda, two granddaughters, Haley Elizabeth Biddle and Elizabeth Alexandria Glass, all of Lexington, a sister Connell Robb Wallace and her husband Ron, nephews Joe Wallace and David Wallace and his wife Jessica as well as many special cousins and countless friends. Bette Jo was a member of Brookside Baptist Church and was retired from Brookside Elementary, graduated from Nicholasville High School in 1957 and attended the University of Kentucky. Bette Jo loved her family and friends, always sharing her love of the Lord with her cards, rice bags, cooking and special gifts with anyone she met. Funeral Services will be 11:00am Tuesday at Brookside Baptist Church. She will be buried beside her husband in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home and from 10-11am Tuesday at the church. Bearers will be Charles Robb Glass, Ben Biddle, Jr., Ron, David and Joe Wallace, Jimmy Wiggs and Ben Biddle, Sr.. Honorary bearers will be Tom East, Jeff Carroll, David Walters, J.T. Dunn, Howard Downing, Kevin Corman, Bill Fitzpatrick, Roy Vahle, Justin Wiggs and Andy Applegate.
