Betty Jane Stephens Bowles

Betty Jane Stephens Bowles, 78, widow of A.R. Gordon Jr. and Russell Bowles, died March 21, 2014. Betty was a nurse at various hospitals and nursing facilities. She was the daughter of the late Charlie Cable Stephens and Clara Joseph Stephens. Survivors include two children, Steve Clark and Sherie Clark Thompson, five grandchildren, Michael Clark, Ashley Foister, Erin Thompson, Edora Melton and Matthew Thompson, eight great grandchildren, Makayla and Kendall Clark, Cayden Leggett, Jackson Foister, Madilyn Drury, Emily and Kyleigh Thompson and Jayden Melton, brothers, Curt and Charles Stephens and a sister Peggy Stephens Brown. She was preceded in death by a son, Dale Clark. Services will be Noon Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bales and Larry Goldey officiating.
