Betty Jo Martin

Mrs. Betty Jo Martin, 90, widow of William B. Martin, died peacefully at home surrounded by family on Sunday, July 23, 2017 in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born July 27, 1926 in Sterns, Kentucky and was raised in Nicholasville, Kentucky by her mother, Daisy Underwood. Betty Jo is survived by her children, William Gregory (Susan, deceased), Joseph Robert (Mary), & Donna Katherine (Andrea); 6 grandchildren, Kevin, Kate, Stephanie, Jackie, Daniel, 10 great-grandchildren; a brother, Howard Duncan. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Floel Crawford and Dorothy. A memorial service is scheduled for Thursday, July 27th at 9:00 am at the Cathedral of Christ the King, Lexington, Kentucky. A private burial for family will take place immediately following at Camp Nelson, Nicholasville, Kentucky. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Betty Jo's life.
