Betty L. Forbes

Betty L. Perez Forbes, 90, widow of Morris “Jake” Forbes, passed away Friday, July 29, 2022, at her home in Wilmore. She was born in Jerseyville, Illinois on January 4, 1932, to the late Joe Perez and Dimple Ligon. Betty was retired from the Fayette County School System, where she was a cafeteria manager. She is survived by her son, Mike (Pat) Forbes; daughter, Cindy (Gary) Fogtman; grandchildren, Rainbow (Andy) Lloyd, Paradise (Josh Hatton) Forbes, Ben Fogtman, and Daniel Fogtman; as well as one great-granddaughter, Lydia Reese Lloyd. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, August 6, at Bluegrass Memorial Gardens, with Chaplain Andy Lloyd officiating.
