Billy Jack Frederick, 50, Ingleside, IL departed this life, on November 14, 2022. He passed peacefully of natural causes at his home. Born September 10, 1972, in Harrodsburg, Kentucky. He was the son of the late William T. Frederick and Bonnie S. Best. He was a mechanic and a U.S. Army Veteran who served in Operation Desert Storm. He was an avid lifelong hunter and fisherman and spent many of his days in the woods or on the riverbank. Survivors include his mother, Bonnie S. Best, two children, Trevor R. Frederick and Rhianna J. Frederick, two granddaughters, Aurora M. Danner and Aerabella E. Frederick, one brother, Cecil W. Frederick, two sisters, April D. Johnson and Scarlett A. Frederick, as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his ex-wife and lifelong friend, Kelli C. Frederick. He was preceded in death by his father, William T. Frederick, and two special uncles, Greg Baker and Gary Baker. Military rites will be held Tuesday, November 29, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, Kentucky. Followed by a celebration of life at New Hope Fellowship Church from 12:00- 2:00 PM. Betts and West Funeral Home are honored to serve the Frederick family.
