Nicholasville-Billy Mitchell Fain, 71, of Linden Lane, died October 26, 2007 after a lengthy illness. He was a Jessamine County native, son of the late William Fain and Josephine Stipe Johns and Herschel Johns. Billy was an avid golfer, fisherman and sports fan. He spent forty years working in Southeast Asia and was a former project manager for Pacific Architects and Engineers. Survivors include a daughter, Naresa Fain-Nicholasville, two sisters, Mary Mardis-OH and Barbara Craycraft-Nicholasville, an aunt, Katherine Bruner, several other family members, two lifelong and loyal friends, Jerry Abshear and Don Clark. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Fain. Services will be 11:00am Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Johns. Visitation will be 2-8pm Sunday. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be Billy and Eric Craycraft, Chris Maynard, Freddie Day, Don Clark, Jerry Abshear, John Perry Blackford and Bobby Craycraft.
