Billy Wayne Perkins

Nicholasville-Billy Wayne Perkins, 55, beloved husband of thirty four years to Terrye Benton Perkins, went to be with the Lord on January 15, 2010 after an extended illness. Billy was an electrical contractor for thirty seven years working with his dad as Perkins and Son Electric and later as Billy Perkins Electric, he was a member of Southland Christian Church. He was the son of Roberta Bruner Perkins and the late Goble Perkins Jr. Additional survivors include a daughter, Laura Ashley Perkins, one sister, Judy Johns, a father in law, Grandon Parker Benton, brother in law, Parker Benton, one nephew, Stanley Durham, one niece Shannon Durham, a niece in law, Lisa Durham, great nieces, Re and Rachael Durham, great nephews, Luke and Jacob Durham, great great nephews, Maliek Washington and Micah Durham. He was preceded in death by his mother in law, Laura Benton. Services will be 11:00 am Monday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Bearers will be Parker Benton, Luther, David and Jeremy Bruner, Stanley Durham, Trevor Martin and Johnny Sherrow.
