Bobbie Clay Cobb

Bobbie Clay Cobb, 78, of Witchia Drive, died May 2, 2011. He was a member of the American Legion, Tennessee Walking Horse Association, was a Navy veteran of the Korean War, was active in Jessamine Co. parades for years with his donkeys and horses and was a former Alcohol and Beverage Control Agent for Jessamine Co. He was the son of the late Brutus Clay Cobb and Susie Lowery Cobb. Survivors include his former wife, Verna Cobb-Stearns, children, Joni (Bruce Lominac) Carson-Stearns, Jane (Dennis) Larson-Lancaster and Janine Cobb-Nicholasville, grandchildren, Tracy Carson (Scott) Harp-Hartford, Cara Carson (Glenn) Creech-London, Chris LeMay-Nicholasville, Amanda Duncan-Lexington, Dakota Nicholson-Nicholasville, great grandchildren, Carson Clay Harp-Hartford, William O-Neal LeMay-Nicholasville, Joni Victoria Creech, Emily Kristine Creech and Connor Lee Creech-all of London, three brothers, Floyd Cobb-Lexinigton, Curtis Cobb and Eugene Cobb-both of Nicholasville. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters. Services will be 12:30pm Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00am until 12:30 Wednesday. Bearers will be Chris LeMay, Dakota Nicholson, Greg Risner, Bruce Lominac, Dennis Larson and Wade Larson.
