Bobby Dean Lowery Jr.

Bobby Dean Lowery Jr., 60, partner of Sandra Renfro, died Monday, June 13, 2011. He was the son of Bobby D. Lowery of Danville and the late Martha J. Chapman Lowery where he grew up in Jessamine County. He was a employee of Kroger Co. at Beaumont Center and former employee of Gulf States Paper Corporation for thirty four years of which he was shipping supervisor for seventeen years. Bobby loved Keeneland, horse racing and UK basketball. Survivors are three sons, Steven W. (Melanie) Lowery of Louisville, Philip A. (Angie) Lowery of Lancaster, Zachary M Renfro of Louisville, a step daughter, Roberta L. (Robert) Sloan of Lexington, a sister, Linda C. (J.D.) Knight of Danville, four grandsons, five granddaughters and two grandpuppies. He was also preceded in death by a son, Kevin J. Renfro and two brothers, Willard Michael and Jimmy D. Lowery. Services will be 1:00 pm Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. John Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Bearers will be Steve and Philip Lowery, Zachary Renfro, William W. Cooper Jr., Robert and William L. Sloan.
