Bobby Gene Shumaker

Bobby Gene Shumaker, 82, husband of Sadie Arlene Webb Shumaker, died Thursday, April 3, 2014. Bobby was a brick mason and veteran of the U.S. Army. He was born June 14, 1931, son of the late John and Gerturde Woods Shewmaker. Additional survivors include a son, Bobby Shumaker Jr. and his fianc-, Heather, two grandchildren, Tony Ballard and Sadie Lynn Shumaker, six brothers and two sisters. He was preceded in death by two brothers. Services will be 1:30 Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Nathan Elliott officiating. Burial will be in Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Bearers will be Tommy, Jerry, Trefford and Kenneth Shewmaker, Jimmy Miller and Barry Waldrop.
