Brenda Snowden Horn

Brenda Snowden Horn, age 77, of Wilmore, Kentucky, died at her home on December 3, 2024, after a long battle with her family by her side. She was born to J.T. and Bertha Snowden on March 10, 1947, in Irvine, Kentucky. Brenda lived in Wilmore for 53 years. Her most favorite activity was spending time with her family. Her family knew her as a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a force of strength and dedication to her family and friends. She died at home with family by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Bobby Horn. Her siblings, Barb Snowden, Liz Carrier, and Melvin Snowden, also preceded her in death. She leaves behind to mourn her passing her children, Gina Baldwin (Jerry), Robert Horn (Brenda), Tammy Bruner (Robert), and Jeremy Horn (Emily). She leaves ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her loving siblings Margaret Webster, Margie Wells, Peggy Parker, Herb Snowden, Debbie Shackleford, and Robin Snowden Sr. She has requested to be escorted on her final journey by her grandchildren as pallbearers: Sarah Cheek (David), Lindsey Mulcahy (Daniel), Joshua Baldwin (Jay), Nicholas Baldwin (Kenzie Tolbert), Noah Baldwin, Aaron Baldwin (Xunan), Alex Halsell (Alyssa), McKenzie Halsell, Hayden Horn, and Samuel Horn. Honorary Bearers are her brothers Herb and Robin Snowden Sr. “Her children shall rise up and call her blessed,” Proverbs 31:28. Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, December 9, 2024, at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Tommy Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in The Bluegrass Memorial Gardens.
