Brenda Lee Lunsford

Brenda Lee Lunsford, 36, of Drake Lane, Wilmore, passed away June 9, 2022, at her home. She was born in Lexington on March 26, 1986, to John and Sheila Lunsford. Brenda enjoyed cooking, collecting elephants, and entertaining everyone, especially the kids. She had an infectious laugh and the best big bear hugs ever. Brenda is survived by her parents, John and Sheila, one brother, Steve (Jenny) Burkhart of Lancaster, two sisters, Nichole Thomas and Sarah Kirby, and nieces and nephews, Nelson, Blake, Shannon, Abby, Brice, Madison, Chase, Emilee, a great-niece, Delilah Thomas, a very special great-nephew, Kaneon Kirby, and numerous other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by a son, John Lee Whitehouse, a brother, John Nelson Lunsford, maternal grandmother Shirley Robinson, paternal grandparents, Edward and Maxine Lunsford, uncles Micheal Lunsford and Terry Randall Robinson, and an aunt, Mary Jean Clough. Services will be Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Rev. James Lunsford officiating. Bearers will be Shannon Kirby, Chase Burkhart, Brice Burkhart, Bill Lunsford, Blake Thomas, and Jay Corman. Honorary Bearers will be Steve Burkhart, Kaneon Kirby, Garrett Buffin, and Nelson Burkhart.
