Brenda Lou "Nana" Shelton Griffin

Brenda Lou 'NANA' Shelton Griffin, 48, wife of Ricky Denny, passed Wednesday, March 16, 2016. She was born April 13, 1967 in Monticello, KY to Bonnie Marie (James 'squirrel') Troxell Berryman and the late Bobby Howard Shelton. Brenda was a homemaker who loved to be around her kids and grandchildren, go to yard sales and garden. Family survivors are three children, David (Rebecca) Shelton, Josh (Christina) Griffin and Ricky (Sabrina) Denny II, eight grandchildren, Blake Shelton, Brayden Shelton, Kaylee Griffin, Cayden and David Shelton, Carter Powers, Barron Hall and Addison Powers, six siblings, Loretta Saunder, Kimberly Garrett, Betty Hoover, William Junior Griffin, Carolyn Boston and Randall Shelton and other family members. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Lisa Marie Turner. Service will be 1:00 PM Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
