Brian Scott Blakeman, 40, died unexpectedly August 22, 2014. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and camping. Brian was the son of Debbie Collins and Jerry (Peggy) Blakeman. He was the father of Jazmine, Isabella and Regan, brother of Matthew (Renee) Blakeman and Amber (David) Harrison, nephew of Annagayle Vickers and Rosemary (Ira Jr.) Bruner, Michele Woriax and Jason (Linda) Oxendine. He is also survived by numerous other family and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, David Blakeman. Services will be 11:00am Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. DeWayne Brewer and Bro. Bill Bales officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Tuesday. Bearers will be Brandon Newby, Austin Lambert, Nicholas and Matthew Blakeman, Eric Caudill, Casey Carr, Pat Patrick and David Harrison.
