Carl David Perkins

Carl David Perkins, 72, husband of 47 years to Barbara Scott Perkins, passed away peacefully Sunday, August 2, 2020 at his home on Ridgewood Drive in Nicholasville, Kentucky. He was born Lexington, Kentucky on September 21, 1947 to the late Carl and Laura Kincaid Perkins. He was veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired law enforcement officer for the City of Nicholasville as well as a code enforcement officer for the Jessamine County Fiscal Court. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include a daughter, Tara Patterson and one son, David Perkins, two brothers, Wayne (Linda) Perkins and Kevin (Stacy) Perkins, one sister, Sherry (Gary) Courtney, five grandchildren, Jonathan, Ryan, Bradley and Randy Perkins and Kaileigh Miller. Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. Grandchildren will serve as bearers. Burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery.
