Carnelia Lunsford Estes, 67, wife of Roy Lee Estes, died Sunday. Carnelia was born February 26, 1943 in Jessamine County to the late Grover Cleveland and Lena May Switzer Lunsford. Additional survivors are nine children, Ricky Lee (Rosie) Estes of Wilmore, Ernest (Pam) Estes, Jimmy (Melissa) Estes, Roy Lee Estes Jr.(Annie), Michael Eugene (Roberta) Estes, Janet Marie (Albert) Halcomb, Bobby (Pamela) Estes, Julie Lynn (Michael) Moungey, Anthony Wayne (Peggy) Estes, nineteen grandchildren, Tonya, Michelle and Samantha Estes, Shelly (Ian) Niggebrugge, Kimberly and James Estes, Josh (Nina) Brown, Ashley Estes, A.J. (Wanda) Halcomb, Michael (Jalie) Halcomb, Holly Halcomb, Timothy and Bobby Lee Estes, Jimmy, Serena and Luke Moungey, Christy and Ashley Scott, nineteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, three sisters, Betty Jean (Jessie) Drury, Jeanette (James) Todd and Joyce Ann (Billy) Brock, a brother in law, Luther (Carol) Estes Jr., and numerous other family members. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Angelia Halcomb and two brothers and seven sisters. Services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Bro. Dale Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Wilmore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 until 9:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home. Bearers will be Jimmy, Roy Lee, Ernest, Michael, Anthony and Bobby Estes. Honorary Bearers will be Mike Moungey and Albert Halcomb. Contributions suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
