Carolyn Jean Taylor, 65, of Jessamine County formerly of Buckeye Road in Garrard County, wife of James Mitchell Taylor, passed away January 8, 2016. She was born on June 9, 1950 in Lexington, KY to the late Ray and Wavyleen Walker Lowry. Carolyn is also survived by two daughters Sheary (Ronnie) Parker and Angie (Randy) Preston, four grandchildren Misty (Brian) Cobb, Lucas Parker, Brett Preston and Ethan Preston, two great grandchildren Gracie Bowen and Evan Cobb and one very special aunt Hazel Callico. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
