Cecil C. Zweifel

Cecil C. Zweifel, 84, passed away October 28, 2014. He was born on

January 12, 1930 in Algona, Iowa. Survivors include his wife of 61 years Johnetta Zweifel, one daughter Cecile Powers (Jim), one son James Zweifel (Jody) six grandchildren, and four great grandchildren He was employed by Asbury College where he coached, taught, and started Intercollegiate Athletics. He was a member of the Wilmore Free Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Greenville College, received a Masters Degree from SMU, and an Honorary Doctorate from Asbury University. Memorial service will be conducted at 11:00 AM Saturday November 1, 2014 at the Wilmore Free Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at the church from 5:00 PM till 9:00 PM Friday October 31, 2014. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Wilmore Free Methodist Church Building Fund.
