Charles C. Reliford Jr., 79, husband of Dorothy Jean Reliford, of Hoover Pike, died February 5, 2011 after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Ashland, KY; son of the late Charles C. Reliford Sr. and June Ison Reliford. He was a Deacon at Sulphur Well Christian Church, a former employee of C&O Railroad, owner operator of Sign Service, a Mason and member of Hart Lodge #61, the Jessamine Co. Antique Farm Machinery Association. Charlie served in the National Guard and was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, having served during the Korean War. Additional survivors include four children, Pam (Danny) Parke, Mona (Buddy) Raines, Greg (Sharon) Reliford and Trina (Bruce) Williams, grandchildren, Emi, Brent and Heath Lyons, Lee (Kim) Chapman, Chad (Kelly Lawson) Chapman, Kara Raines, Noah and Madelyn Reliford, Shelby Goldey, Kassi (Shawn) Mobley, Bruce (Kristin) Williams II, Paul Williams-PVII Army, Nathan Williams-SR Navy, great grandchildren, Braxton Chapman, Ashton Mobley and Cade Chapman, a sister, Barbara Faulconer and a brother, Paul Reliford, numerous other relatives. Services will be 11:00am Wednesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Faulconer. Burial will follow in the Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-8pm today. Bearers will be Brent and Heath Lyons, Lee and Chad Chapman, Noah Reliford, Shelby Goldey and Bruce Williams II. Honorary bearers will be Emi Lyons, Kassie Mobley, Madelyn Reliford, Kara Raines, Eddie Kegley, Larry Glass, Paul Greer, PV II Paul Williams, SR Nathan Williams, David Cartwright, Charlie Wilson, Frankie Reynolds, David Travis and Gary Lykins.
