Charles Edgar French

Charles Edgar French, 73, husband of Rose Yvonne Koontz French, died October 27, 2007. He was born August 12, 1934 in Dandridge, TN to the late Kenneth Coile and Una Fay Whillock French. Charles was retired from the United States Department of Agriculture in marketing, an army veteran, loved his golfing and fishing and was a member of Lone Oak Country Club. Additional survivors are a daughter Kelly Rene (Chris) Fitch-Nicholasville, sister, Charlotte (Curtis) Woods-TN, brother, Gerald (Vickie) French-TN, three grandchildren, Audrey, Amelia and Anna Fitch-Nicholasville and other family members. Services will be 10 AM Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Bob Justus and Rev. Bob Nelson officiating and burial to follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Bearers will be Henry Wardle, Joe Strain, Don Lambert, Paul Abshear, Danny Stivers, John Blankenship and Willie Preston.
