Charles Ray Watts, 81, loving husband of Mae Pauline Watts for 62 years went to be with the lord on May 28, 2016. Charles was born on November 16, 1934 in Jessamine County to the late Wilburn and Rella Dean Watts. Charles was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a lifelong Jessamine County resident, attended Nicholasville High School and was owner of Watts Plumbing and Heating for 34 years. Charles was also a licensed real estate agent and a self-made entrepreneur. He was surrounded by his family and friends during his last days and died peacefully at home. He was a member of the Roberts Chapel Church and loved his Super A and big machinery. He leaves behind to share his memories two daughters Kimberly Edwards and husband Dwayne and Rella Sue Watts, one granddaughter Amanda Baker, one great granddaughter Jai Hughes, two special nieces Mavis Adams and husband Damon and Vanessa Marshall and husband Jerry. He is also survived by a wonderful and very special neighbors Ernie and Debbie Bain. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Pastor John Gillispie officiating. Burial will follow in the Bluegrass Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Casket bearers will be Ernie Bain, Roy Tyree, Kenneth Hall, Kurt Stevens, Earl Foley Jerry Marshall and Eric Marshall.
