Charles Theodor Lee, 77, husband of Eleanor Mae Ackerman Lee passed away in his sleep early Saturday morning, December 29, 2007 at his home. Charles was born January 7, 1930 in Harlan County to the late Larkin and Martha Rutherford Lee. He as a retired self employed Brick Mason. Additional survivors are four children, Charolette Lawson, Patricia Angel, Karen Perkins, Nicole (Bobby Sr.) White, seven grandchildren, Jenny (Charlie) Bast, John W. (Carolyn) Angel Jr., David Ray Angel, Wesley D. (Ashley) Lawson II, Mermystia Perkins, Zachary White, Bobby White Jr., seven great grandchildren, Candice Angel, Amanda Griffith, Austin Bast, Marisa and Brianna Angel, Angela and Ryan Lawson, one sister, Rosie Huddleston, other family members and close loving friends, Joe D. Angel, Rick Terry, Bill and Michael White, David L. Angel, Cody Angel, Steve White, Mitchell Griffith, two ex son in laws, Wes Angel and Wesley Lawson. He was also preceded in death by his son, Charles Terry Lee, one sister, five brothers and one niece. Services will be 11 AM Thursday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Baker officiating and burial to follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5 until 8 PM at the funeral home. Bearers will be John Angel Jr., David Ray Angel, Joe David Angel, Wesley D. Lawson, Zachary White and Austin Bast.
