On Friday, February 19, 2021, Christopher Hepp, beloved father, and grandfather of four, passed away at age 71. Christopher was born on February 2, 1950 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania to Edward and Dolores Hepp. He served in the Second Division Marine Airwing for four years, serving from 1970-1974. On May 10, 1975, he married Frances Ann Richmond. Together they raised their only son, Matthew Ross Hepp. Christopher had a servant’s heart and a passion for Christ. He was a pastor and devoted member of the church. Christopher believed that the only way to truly show God’s love was to be the beacon of light yourself no matter the circumstance. He was a giver, known for donating to UNICEF and Operation Smile. He was known for his knowledge of vast subjects, infectious smile, and compassionate spirit. Christopher was preceded in death by his wife, Frances. He survived by his son Matthew, brother, Edward Joseph Hepp Jr., and three sisters, Sr. Mary Faith Hepp, Patricia Hepp-Perez, and Mary Ellen Thompson, along with his four grandchildren, Madison, Logan, Liam, and Harper. Military Services will be 11:00AM, Friday, February 26, 2021 at Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Betts & West Funeral Home is honored to serve Christopher and the Hepp family.
