December 30, 1933 — February 5, 2013

Clifton Guy, 79, widower of Ruth Ina Masters Guy, of Black Bridge Lane, died February 6, 2013. He was the son of John Oscar Guy and Mervine James Guy. Clifton was a former employee of Camp Nelson National Cemetery, a U.S. Army Veteran who loved to be with his family and garden. Survivors include five children, Cherie (Sammy) May, Donna Guy, Helen Jones, Clifton Shane (Amanda) Guy and Pamela Sue Cantor, eleven grandchildren, Rebecca, Melanie, Jenny, Alesha, John, Nick, Doogie, Clifton Daniel, Brandon, Crystal and Breanna, fourteen great grandchildren, John, Katlynn, Matthew, William, Luke, Alexis, Sarah, Courtney, Kathryn, Lorin, Derek, Jack, Skye and Juliann, a brother Charles (Edna) Guy and a sister Dovie Virgin. He was preceded in death by five brothers and eight sisters. Services will be 1:30pm Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Jonathan Wallace officiating. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8pm today. Bearers will be John Preston, Donnie, Brandon and Clifton Guy, Sammy May, Danny Hampton and Kevin Dotson.
