Connie Sue Anderson Sunda

Connie Sue Anderson Sunda, age 60, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at St. Joseph hospital with her hand held tightly by her Husband and best friend of 34 years, Timothy C. Sunda. She was born August 5, 1955 in Effingham, Illinois to the late Ralph and Elizabeth (Gillespie) Anderson. Connie graduated with honors from Farina-LaGrove High School, Farina, Illinois, then obtained an Associate's Degree in Communications from Lakeland College in Mattoon, Illinois. Connie is best known for her work, passion, and devotion as a volunteer, board member, and eventual director of the Wilmore-High Bridge Community Service Center where she will be missed by countless colleagues, volunteers, clients, and friends. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Tracey K. Malone and Anderson C. Sunda (Amanda), grandchildren Conner and Liam White, brother Bill Anderson (Peggy), Sister Myrna Hill, nephew Bobby, nieces Beth, Maggie, Leslie, Lisa, Jenny, and Jill, great nieces and nephews Mia, Ella, Timmy and Benny. Visitation will be Friday, March 18 from 4-8 PM and Saturday, March 19 from 10 AM to 12 PM at Jessamine Christian Church in Nicholasville, Kentucky followed immediately by a Celebration of Life Service officiated by Bruce Heller.
