CPL Henry Ray Huddleston, 72, husband of Betty Sue Burton Huddleston, of Shun Pike, Nicholasville, passed away, Monday, September 20, 2021, at St. Joseph Hospital. He was born in Jessamine County on November 9, 1948, to the late R.T. and Dorothy McClure Huddleston. He was a United States Marine Corp. veteran, worked for Juddmont Horse Farms, and was a life-long farmer. He is survived by two brothers, Bobby Huddleston and Sonny Huddleston, four sisters, Kay Robinson, Opal Mae Huddleston, Edna Mae Huddleston and Martha Ann Huddleston. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Sue Cochran, a grandson, Stanley Cochran, a brother, Jimmy Huddleston, and a sister, Judy Gayle Huddleston. Services will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home, with Pastor Tommy Morrow officiating. Burial will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Bearers will be Jeffrey Scott Marion, Christopher Marion, Michael Marion, Jordan Marion, Danyal Campbell, and Darrell Jones. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11:00 am until the time of service.
