Curtis Dean Combs

Rev. Curtis Dean Combs, 61, died December 10, 2007. Rev. Combs was born January 15, 1946 in Perry Co. KY, son of the late William and Betty Jane Newland Combs. He was a retired self-employed upholsterer and ran Combs Trim and Upholstery. He was a member of the Fellowship Holiness Church in Nicholasville. He is survived by three daughters, Kathy (Mark) Lockhart-Nicholasville, Beverly (Don) Marsh-Danville and Marjorie Combs-Evansville, IN, three sons, James Dean (Tina) Combs-Nicholasville, William Granville (Lorraine) Combs-Lexington and Robert Joseph (Lowavia) Combs-Harrodsburg, thirteen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and other family members. He was preceded in death by a brother, Granville Combs. Services will be 2:00 PM Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Benny Baker and Rev. Michael Newland officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Bearers will be James Dean Combs, William Granville Combs, Robert Joseph Combs, Joshua Kerby, Brandon Combs and J.D. Combs.
