Daniel E. Johns

Nicholasville-Dan E. Johns, 54, husband of Pamela G. Johns, of Bluegrass Drive, died May 7, 2008 after a lengthy illness. Dan was born in Clovis, NM to Charles E. -Sunny- and Betty A. Gardner Johns. He was a member of the Edgewood Baptist Church and was a former employee of IBM and the University of Kentucky. Additional survivors include a son, Hunter Johns and a daughter, Heather Johns, a sister and her husband, Jennifer A. and Donnie Watson, a niece Nikki Johns, a special uncle, John Gardner, a brother in law, Dr. Ralph C. Gordon, many other family members. Services will be 2:00pm Saturday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Sholer. Burial will follow in the Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Friday at Betts & West Funeral Home. Bearers will be John and Josh Gardner, Donnie Watson, Jake McDonald, John Bowles and Adam Wilson.
