David Bruce Blakeman

David Bruce Blakeman, 40, died Saturday, July 23, 2011. He is the father of Nicholas Herbert Blakeman, son of Jerry (Peggy) Blakeman and Deborah Lee Collins of Nicholasville. David was a member of Devondale Baptist Church, an avid Red-s fan and was a devoted father, son and brother. Additional survivors are two brothers, Brian (Alexandra) Blakeman, Matthew Blakeman and his fianc- Renee Marler, a sister, Amber (David) Harrison, all of Nicholasville, three aunts, Michele Woriax and her fianc-, Tim Oxendine of Lexington, Rosemary (Junior) Bruner, Annagayle Vickers, both of Nicholasville, two uncles, Jay (Linda) Oxendine of FL, Charles David (Bebe) Collins of Nicholasville and other family members. Services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Betts & West Funeral Home with Rev. Dewayne Brewer officiating. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Bearers will be Brian and Matthew Blakeman, David Harrison, Glendon Blanton, James Burge and Charles David Collins.
