David Kyle Blankenship

February 14, 1967 — October 31, 2015

David Kyle Blankenship, 48, widower of Shirley Ann Peel Blankenship, passed Saturday, October 31, 2015 at St. Joseph Hospice Care Center. He was born February 14, 1967 in Richmond, IN to Jack and Barbara Sue Blankenship. Additional family survivors are three children, Austin Kyle Blankenship, Abby Marie Blankenship and Jeremiah Blankenship, a brother, Jeffery (Tina) Alan Blankenship, two sisters, Angela Shaeffer and Jessic Renee Sparks and other family members. David was a veteran of the Iraq War serving in the National Guard as a Staff Sergeant. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at Camp Nelson National Cemetery with Pastor David Kibler officiating. Donations may be made to Hospice of the Bluegrass.
